Has anyone had the pleasure of constructing a Gunze Sangyo High Tech Panther kit?
I have the opportunity to pick one up and was wondering if it was worth the price of $85.00?
Comments, good - bad about this kit are appreciated!

Erock,
My understanding is that the Dragon Panther’s (the G models) are copied from the Gunze kits.
That about exhausts my knowledge of the Gunze kits.
They may have been Hi-Tech when they first came out Eric … but I think they’re pretty much on a level playing field now. Also verify what Latch said … DML has them covered.
[#ditto] I agree with Robert. I do not think I would pay $85.00 dollars for it.
It’s just my [2c].

Thanks for the replies…
I think I’m going to pass on this.
Is that the one with all those white metal parts?
Does it have PE included?
If so $85 sounds ok but then I live in “Rip off UK” where the average Tamiya kit (i.e Panther late) costs around £30, and the average Dragon kit is even dearer at around £35 for new releases.
If i,m not mistaken this converts to in excess of $50 per kit add £13 for a PE set (around $20), and £22 for aftermarket tracks (around $30).
Put this alltogether and $85 don,t sound so bad.

Ps my $/£ conversions are only approx please don,t quote as totally accurate.
Yes, I believe it has both metal parts and some PE. I think I’m going to stick with the Tamiya & Dragon Panthers and just get a supply of PE sets for them.
