operation

First of all let me tell you all that I think this is a great site and even though I never met any of you I stiil some sort of comradeship along fellow modelers.
On Monday februari 2 i will be hospitalised for a operation on my back( a slipped disk) . I sure going to miss this site for a while and wiss you all the best and good modeling

Wish you a speedy recovery Rob…I’ve had similar surgery and it’s not fun, but hey, think of all the research reading you can do for your next project!!

I had disc surgery in 1996 (and they say weightlifting is GOOD for you!). It was a complete success, and I was back home the next day, and back in the gym a month later.

Good fortune with the operation, rob. I’ll be having a similar one myself soon. I’ve got a herniated disc in my neck, pinching a nerve in my arm. I feel your pain !

Hey, they will probably use some superglue to put you back together so you will actually get a little closer to your models - cool, huh? Best of luck, hope it turns out well and that your suffering is relieved.

Hi guys,

thank you all for youre kind words it is realy hart warming and will certainly help with my recovery. To all who have had or will have the same operation all the best of luck. And to Wayne I would like to say don’t give up ,it took me 6,5 years to find a surgeon who could locate it and who was willing to operate.

I’ll be back
