Having just returned from 6 months away from the bench, my airbrush skills are lost. I finally got paint on my Stealth Fighter but when airbrushing with Future to seal, I got heavy handed and have lots of “holidays” (varnish term?).
Anyway, what is the preferred way to clean up Future mistakes? Fine sandpaper after 48 hours cure? or use Windex now?

Windex will take off the Future—and anything else acrylic.
If you have fisheyes, it means there was a contaminant either on the surface or in the Future (probably from the airbrush if the latter.)
Ross - not fisheyes but droops from wayyyyyy too much Future applied.
As I painted with acrylics, guess I will try fine sandpaper? and then cover again with more touch! [banghead]
A couple of things:
If you sand, make sure the Future is fully cured—wait at least 48 hours. If it’s gumming up the sand paper, wait longer or force cure.
Another option, if you have a good, light hand, is to brush paint over the sags with 90% isopropyl alcohol. You may be able to blend them in invisibly. I’ve done it, but you have to be careful not to have the brush too wet, and wait several hours between applications. The advantage is that you don’t need to recoat. The disadvantage is that too much alcohol will ruin the paint job.

Ross - thanks for the tips and I did try to use a little alcohol and a little 600grit but it is a disaster. I am going to cut my losses and move on, learning all the time! [banghead]
I hope that a few light coats of Future and Dullcoat will “smooth” all out. Ha, ha! [sigh]
