OMG FINISHED!!!

Wow, after 10 months, this little project is DONE. This summer has been a crazy busy time, with getting evacuated for fires (all is well!) and tons of work stuff. But, things have quieted down and I was able to finish up my little vignette. I call it… (wish I had a few better pics!)

The Shakedown:

Sometime in Martuba, Libya May, 1942 a young Lt. Rudolph (Rudi) Sinner prepares to board his F4/Trop prior to one of his first victories. The crew preps the plane to be certain all is well for his mission. A quick brief from the commander and off he goes…

Wait, this was supposed to be in the BF109 GB section. Is there any way to move it?

Wel, I am glad you posted it here. Else I would have missed your build. And it looks great. Congrats on finishing

Great build Geof. Love the dio and the finish and weathering on the 109 is outstanding. I don’t know if you give a star rating on this forum but it deserves 5*s.

I too am glad the mistake was made. I really like African 109s.

Nice!

Thanks guys! I thought I deleted it, but guess not! Feel kinda guilty posting it twice!

A lot of people post their completions both in the GB and main forum. A lot of people may not be following the GB, but would still like to see completions.

OMG! AWESOME DIO!!!

Just nice work all around, great work on the Bf-109, crew figures, even the sand looks great!

Nice, I like it! I like that silver droptop also.

Nice work. I’ve been digging the dioarama’s even more lately - they give the aircraft a bit more life than just sitting on a shelf by its lonesome. On the second pic, when I first looked at it I said to myself “Why does guy think a silver Ferrari (?) looks correct here” then I looked again

Very impressive. Good work.
