Old ESCI A-10

This is a 32 year old build of ESCI’s 1.48 A-10. My dad built it based on a picture in a mid 70’s "Air Combat " magazine article. It was a development bird that was painted white, which was wearing off in places. The kit had the test bird seat which still needed some pieces added to it to make it closer to accurate.

What a great trip down memory lane with a nice kit that’s holding up quite well. Those old ESCI kits were some of the first ones I worked on as a kid in the 80’s so I think they’ll always have a special place in my heart!

That’s what’s great with our hobby, you get to reminisce about past builds. A beautiful job indeed!
