Well, I have a question… WHY are you doing this, this way?
How are you going to take it off when done painting?
Why not to stick to the old and proof masking tape? or buying Xpress masks?
I have heard of painting clear decal film to match the surrounding area, then using that on the canopy frames. I have never heard of using decal film for masking material. As ShModeler asked, how are you going to remove it after painting is done?

Sorry, SIGH, BIG DUMMY HERE> I meant that i was painting clear decal sheet with the same color. Ok, need some more sleep. Bill
