Are those scramjets on the tops of the wings?
Interesting model, that’s for sure. Wish I could read the text.

Somebody had a few too many beers before they built that thing. The engines on top are pointed backwards. Check out an Heinkel 162 with turbo jet or a V-1 with a ram jet, the big fat part goes to the front.

Actually, the ramjets are correct, but it was a proposal for a single-seat Me 262. It was most likely to be developed by DFS. The proposal was not accepted.
Man thats one weird looking 262…Did you ever see the canal barges that they stuck Daimler benz V 12’s on for the proposed invasion of England…
Wow! Looks like it could go in two directions at the same time.
Dan
Now thats one weird looking 262.
now that IS FUGLY!!! some one needed to leave the schnapps alone (or some other substance
Greg
As Pix mentioned, the text says it was an unsuccessful proposed aircraft featuring ramjets, supposedly capable of speeds over 1,000 kph. .
Pix,
I stand corrected.

Do you know that Antares in Argentina proposes a number of those odd things ?
I know there are other builds but I had contact with Antares and they are very nice guys (free endorsement )
jees… that’s wierd…I want that!
how many mph is 1000kmph
That would have the same powered flight time as a bottle rocket, I’ll bet…
It reminds me of the beer helmet I used to wear at W&L college football games…
To quote Sgt. Schultz “Very interesting.”
Cheers,
Eric
divide by 5 multiply by 8!
I agree. Here’s the line ----------------------------
and here’s the germans
Not much side vision…But at that speed you only need to see where to point it.
I’m thinkin’ (if my conversion tables are correct) 1000 kph is about 600 mph, or almost the speed of sound. I think. A crazy design either way. (And just my cup of tea!)
