I finished my first armor yesterday and it was a real pleasure to build. (you can see pictures of it on the Light Armor GB thread) I like the idea of making it dusty and greasy. Aircrafts need a cleaner job and it can be time consuming to apply some putty, wait , sand , reapply some putty, resand, well … you know. But with armor, you can play rough with it. Now I’m addicted to armor and I’ll probably have a pile of kits to build in a near future.

It is addicting, isn’t it? I started doing armor a couple years back as a break from aircraft and now I spend about 50-50 between the two. Keeps model building from getting stale
Me too! I’ve started buildin’ armour, as a change from buildin’ 1/24 auto’s, a lot of sandin’ and cuttin’ back of paint jobs in that department. I agree with you, buildin’ armour is so addictive!
Like potato chips, you can’t have just one. Before you know it, you’ll have a stash that takes up half your closet.
im hopelessly hooked, there are so many different vehicles and ways to portray them it keeps my mind running constantly, my biggest concern is shelf space, im running out of wall!!
