OK, i'm offically amazed (Dragons new Tiger II)

After a fun build (in the sense it is done now and i am glad its off my shelf) of a 1998 dragon panzer 3, i decided to crack open the box on my new Ardennes Tiger 2. Ok, WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW

I mean it, this kit is an example of the modelers art that simply takes your breath away. The new tracks came out great with a miniunal of clean up. The supplied aluminum barrel, the sheer fit of the kit, I can see now why tamiya went 1/48th. THis has the same level of engenering as a tamiya kit, but with way more detail and accessories. THat and i got it for 32.00 makes it perhaps one of the nicest kits for the price i have seen anywhere.

If you are so inclined, i suggest you pick up one of these little baddies.
I’ll post pictures when i’m done.

I should have waited. I have the Henschel version without alot of the goodies that came in later versions. That’s what happens when you can’t wait.

Keep us updated on your progress.

yeah all of the latest releases are great! You think the Ardennes KT is great?!? Try the Tiger I 3 in I hehe that’ll send you through the roof!!! The Battle of the bulge Sherman is hot too!

The one I haven’t purchased…yet. James is dead on about the Tiger Initial and BoB Sherman. Both are fantastic and so loaded with stuff, it is near impossible to put the lid back on.

Just to get clear! Are you talking about Dragon Tiger II ‘Battle of the Bulge’ kit # 6254?

Glenn

Yea, thats the one. I will pick up the sherman on sunday. What a nice set of kits. I also have the 3 in one halftrack which i will do as a strummel
Bill

I have the BotB Sherman and it’s a fantastic looking kit. The armor guys went nuts over it at the IPMS meeting the other night.
Don’t have the Tiger II as yet, it’s on order at the LHS and I can’t wait for it to arrive.

Cheers
Darren

The new DML kits are starting to show truly professional workmanship.
Not so much can be said for the older DML kits.

Edit: With the friendly pricetag for the new kits loaded with goodies, DML might come out on top of the model market sooner than later.

Lets hope that they will soon improve their kit instruction sheets as well.

I’ve purchased the Tiger 1 Initial production 3 in 1 kit and must say that Im very impressed with it.

Well sometimes one gets an unexpected surprise! This very kit is currently sitting in my stash pile of undone models! Sounds like I ought to consider building it sooner than later!

which kit is that? The sherman? I’m in love with the different unit decals they give you, not to mention the two fig kits that come with it! I am a little confused with the Beute Panzer, not sure if it’s a captured Sherman, or if it’s just the Yanks havin fun! But it looks cool non the less

Sorry for not explaining better! The BoB Tiger II kit kit from Dragon! I ordered it a while back not knowing that it was filled with so many goodies inside! Heck …it still has the shrinkwrap on!

Glenn

can someone help me, aren’t there two KT BotB kits by DML? what are the differences? should i just go and get both of them?

One has the late version drive sprocket and track, this is the one that says on the box “new pattern track” Man I cant wait to get my Tiger 1 3 in 1, with the reviews I’ve read I’m DROOLING
