Real nice and wacky, for some, at least. I like the BV 193 best… Great workmanship too, John.
Cool collection of models. Nice work. Wish they made a bunch of those in 1/48.
Nice collections John. Wonder how many would have come into production had things gone differently. [?] Bob
its a great site with great models
just great to see the mad desighns
guess they would have no chance against the big mama…
there is a b-movie i think called “big mama against mutant nazi surfers” isnt it?..its supposed to be a classic of b-movies…lol
Nice models! [8D] I’ll say one thing for German engineers, they sure had fertile imaginations. [:P]
v v cool![8D]
great builds…[:)]
regards,
nick
ps thank god we never got to see them for real!

You have the collection of my dreams!
Awesome work.
I have been on a buying binge of books related to this subject, and wish I had the time to gather a model collection of my own. Maybe in time.
Great collection! Glad they didn’t progress further with their R&D. Would have made history a bit different.
Cool planes - I especially like the “Triebflugel” and the He-162 with oversized bomb. Gee, and I thought the Me-109 / Ju-88 Mistel was a bizarre combination.
Like the Arado 555.
Currently working on one of those myself, and like you I am not sticking with the colour schemes laid down in the instructioins. The KG200 one, especially looks awful!
Karl
John-terrific work, interesting subjects! I’ve built a few myself-looking forward to getting a 1/72 Triebfluegel. I’m trying some American weirdos too-like the Goblin and Pogo!
Planet Models makes a resin 1/48 Triebflugel too. It’s on my to-do pile.
John-maybe i should try the 1/48, 1/72 is gettin’ hard on the old eyes and hands. History Channel has had some Luftwaffe '46 shows on. Seen any? By the way, how are Huma kits-I have some but haven’t built any yet.
Love your quote!!! ![]()
Great work as always John!
Wow, saw those and now I have a feeling I know where VaughnBode got the ideas for some of his cartoon work.
Great collection
Mike
There is one called “Surf Nazis Must Die” but I don’t know about that big mama action. I do love the badfilm.
oh no what are blohm und voss up to now!!
John,
Great collection of models, there.
As strange as those designs were (in the mid 40’s), there surely is a large number of past (and current) aircraft that proved many of the “weird” design concepts as valid.
What an amazing showcase you must have. I’d love to see them all gathered together in one display case.
Cheers
