Oh my Gustavs 2 more!

Been plugging away at this pair while waiting for parts to dry on my other project. They were part of 4 that I had going at the same time, but delays in decals arriving put them on the backburner. Both are marked as Hartmanns G-6s. The tulip nosed one is Fujimi and the other is Otaki. Both OOB(except the decals of course!)

Beautiful. What scale are they? Damn I hate people who are more talented and skillful than me. I look forward to more posts.

Always liked the G-model, but the F-model was the best looking of the BF-109 line.

Woops, forgot about that, they are 1/144.

I prefer the looks of the “E” myself, with “F” in second.

Just playin [proplr] they are 1/48.

1/144??? I thought they looked awesome before now I am just beside myself with envy at your skills[proplr].

I love the Hartman plane Bubi has always been hero like to me. Great job.

I was going to say, 1/144!!! no WAY… ha

Excellent work fermis… I also like the “E” variant the best… E-3 to be exact

The E-3 and E-4 versions had a business-like no nonsense fell about them. The BF-109F was sleek and beautiful. Probably the best of the line. But, what do I know? I build noisy, stinking, ugly armored vechiles.

1/48th is such a good scale for aircraft. Just right for detailing and a nice handy size.

144? Wow. Well done on any scale, let alone something so small.

Sweet balls of fire!! Be still my beating heart[ht], there is nothing more beautiful… at least in model-land, than a well done 109. [:D[

WOW! Just… amazing.

Just curious, how did you do the nose and spinner on this?

I’ve always loved Hartmann’s tulip-nosed a/c. I’ve got a 1/72 Academy G-14 with similar markings, but in a grubby whitewash.

Excellent Builds. Hard to believe the’re 1/144. Well done [Y].

Regards, Rick

Thanks all! [t$t]

Decals. The “tulip” petals were individual triangles, white first, then the black. The spinner decal was a jerk, but a dowsing of micro-sol made it comply.

Fermis… ! very nice… !

you dream in sprue… ?[;)]

Decals? Wow, I bet that spinner was a peach. [:|]

Stunning work Ferris!!!

Great job on the camo patterns and mottling—which is one of the most dificult skills to master (mottle)…your finishes have improved dramatically since you chunked Wally and got the double-action…

[Y] good try

Amazing what the proper tools can do!!! Can’t believe I stuck with “Wally” for so long[:(DD][:XX]

Hey, Wally gave you everything he had, poor little bugger.
