Oh, Geez!

Well it seems like my T-28 is more than a year over due! Maybe because IT IS more than a year over due. How are we to beat back the fascists with such slow tank production? [xx(]

To make a long story short… I moved from Maryland to Pennsylvania… purchased a 200 year old building… fixed up the old building so I could have a computer store on the first floor and live upstairs…

One year has gone by and I am finally unpacking my boxes and crates of model supplies… some things stored better than others (some paint and kits didnt like the heat in the attic).

I think its just nuts trying to restart a work in progress after not even looking at it for over a year and after moving. I think I have found all the parts to my T-28, let’s see if I can finish it. [:)]

On a side note… I purchased an old glass display case from another local store here and I have many of my models on display in my computer store. Finally, no more dusting models [:P]

I have an unfinished F/A-18 Hornet on the workbench since february approx. I did not worked on it ever since and its not because I moved. Now I feel like finishing it would be a pain but I might do it pretty soon.

I hope you won’t have much trouble getting back into it. I have a suggestion tough, read the instructions entirely and build it in your head. You might get back into the mood easily. That’s what I’ll do with mine.

Good luck and don’t forget to post some pictures whenever you can.

I’ve got things that are years old, sometimes you just have to make yourself get back to work on something. I’ll let you know when I figure out how to do that.[:)]

Welcome back, wondered what became of you. Hope to see more builds soon.

Me too. Almost made me jump when I saw your nickname appear.

Hey Steve,

Welcome back. Good to hear your plans for the PC store came through. Glad to hear that your are getting back into modeling, too. Hope to read more from you soon.[:)]

Thanks for the welcome back guys.

Yeah I had to dig and dig and dig to find the pieces I stashed in a small container for small parts. I finally found the hand rail for the top turret and some of the other small parts. I have to go through it to make sure i’m not going to be missing something at the very end but it looks like I found all the parts I need to get this thing done. I think it is a good idea to get this off my bench to get my modelling skills back up where they should be before I start a new project.

I think I have my eye on a M26 or a SU-100 for my next build. Probably the M26 since I’m working on Russian armor right now.

(progress pics soon, one thing at a time) [:)]

I just finished my Tamiya M26 Pershing and I can tell you it was pure joy to build. Really nice model.
