Sounds like a potential cage match to me. The Revell Mustang kit practically builds itself. Good choice for an armor guy to start with.
Now, this…I got to see. kinda like Luke Skywalker in a duel with Darth Vader.[:D][}:)]
Yowza! How did I get myself into this bind. [%-)] I feel the Dark Side putting a proverbial boot in my tush. I might be game. Like I said in the Plane Build, I have that Ki-84 that I have been meaning to get building on.
Don’t succumb to peer pressure tigerman (bwaaaack) but you don’t have to take him up on it if you don’t want to (bwaaaaaak, cluck, cluck). I mean no one would think less of you…(bwaaaaaaaaaaack) I mean its a plane for heaven’s sake (buck, buck, budaaaaack)
Don’ t worry Tigerman. We will be behind you al the way. I could be your waterboy.[;)][:D]
hmmm… an interesting turn of events. interesting indeed.
joe
which turn of events… me having a personal backwards build with a scared tank guy or you being a waterboy… both i can see.
hmmm… how did i get involved.
joe
Welcome to the lightside brother airman
hmmm welcome to the lightside? i have been there for twenty years.
joe
I don’t even know what a Ki-84 is but I bet it would look nice with some track marks all over it.
We’re with ya Tigerman. Or behind you. Or better you than me.
I am kidding Joe… hmmm[:(]
Mike, that is a sensational phonetic impression of a chicken!
[(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D]
Skeered, am I? I may have to send my fellow treadheads to your house. [}:)] [:o)] Well, like Mike said, I now have the proverbial kick in the tush to accept your dual of CA and Squadron putty. I figure if your willing to try indy tracks, I should be able to glue a prop and some wings together.
Ausf, a Ki-84 is a sleek Japanese fighter that was regarded by some as their best produced. Since it fought in the Pacific it might look good under a Sherman’s or Stuarts track marks. Oh, I will pay for this one. Hehehe.
Now I like the sound of that.[:D][}:)][:D]
I’ll chip in the coconut trees, too.[:D]
Cool now I have a reason to get that challenger I saw. So lets say 2 weeks (July 9th or so). I need to finish my monogram build too. Work for you?
-Jeff
Gee, Eric, I figured you’d have him going after you’re Hasagewa P-47. What brand of kit is the 84?? I’m sure you’ve said, but I can’t remember.
Jeff, how about July 11 or 12th. I’m right in the middle of a group build, so I won’t have as much time as would like to devote to my first “true aircraft”.
Bill it’s a Hasegawa kit. I think all that I have heard about NMF, scares me off right now. When I have more time to devote than I’ll try that kit.
eric dont let the nmf worry you. it really isnt that hard to do. the alcad is a good way and pretty easy to do.
