In preparing for upcoming Olive Drab pain schemes for a P-38 and B-17F, what are your thoughts on who makes the “best” acrylic OD paint. I’ve had good luck with PolyScale products, and am leaning towards their 505370, but I see Gunze(H-304 or 66) and ModelMasters (4728) also makes a “comparable” product. Which has worked best for you guys? Any horror stories?

I’ve used MM and Polyscale. No problems with either one. they both went on the same way (with a brush).

The Polyscale was a shade or two darker than the MM.

I have had good luck with the Modelmaster line. Future over the top of the paint seems to work fine for a decal base.
