Hello everyone! This is my next lunch time project. Used my printer and purchased the files from gumroad. The kit has been primed, here is what it contains.
Please bear in mind that i am not, repeat not a good figure modeler.
So what I did today was glue the two body halves together, the base and attached the hands to the arms. Played around with some paint on the face.
Yep, printed off two heads cause I know me. Besides the one that I am painting on now has a few areas that did not print as sharp as I would have liked.
So it begins.

That head looks amazing. It looks just like Ewan McGregor!
So, yesterday I started painting the tunic(?), just a base color for now.
Same for today.

Having two heads is huge. I had two heads with my Phantom of the Opera kit and having the second head was a big help.
Happy modeling!

Thanks Mark, I thought two heads would be better than one. Speaking of which, who is the idiot? Yep, that would be me. Got the tunic colors reversed. Should be light tan over the dark brown. Simple google search would have shown me, but, no; I relied on my, apparently, not so vast knowledge of Star wars. Well, going to take the torso home and re-prime it. The arms were easy enough to cover the tan with the darker brown. Base coats on the gloves and armor as well. Filled the seem down the center of the base, no pic of that though.
That is it for today, back at it on Monday.

Awesome sculpt of Kenobi from the Clone Wars. Even if the colors were reversed the start on it was awesome. Bookmarking this.
Wish I could take credit for the sculpt, just happy the print came out well. I hope that I can do the sculpt justice when all is said and done
The weekend went by fast, hope everyone had a good weekend and Father’s day. I was able to prime the torso over the weekend and today I have the colors in the right order. A little set back, easily fixed. So this is what it is supposed to look like.
Until tomorrow

Are you hand painting or airbrushing this figure, or a combination of both? Inquiring minds want to know.
Hi TigerII, I am brush painting. Building this at work during my lunch break and don’t want to push my luck by bringing in an airbrush and compressor, lol.

Not to much done today. A second coat of paint on the armor and filled the gap around the torso and waist. Will get some pictures up tomorrow.
So today I started on the belt and the seam around the waste. This is just basic painting. I hope to start detail painting soon.
Back at it tomorrow!
