O what should I do???

In my recent huge hual I had aquired several Monogram Classics kits in 1/48

1 Hellcat
2 TBM Avengers
1 Helldiver
2 SBD Dauntles
3 Wildcats
2 OSU Kingfishers

I Have an idea as to what to do with my OSU Kingfishers (1/48 Battelship Catapolt Diorama[:D]) But I have no clue what to do with the others. I want to use them (love building the old hard stuff) But I just cant seem to think of any good subects for them. So does anyone have any ideas?

Try building a representative from all the outfits aboard a carrier at a certain pont in Time, for example the Essex at the Marianas Turkey shoot or Battle for Leyte (I’m not even sure the Essex was at either one)., but then they probably never had the Avenger, Wildcat, Dauntless and Helldivers all at once. hhmmm, that is a hard one to think about. But a good dilemma to have! [:p] (I for one have no kits in my stash to think about )[:(!]

Marshalling yard, with barges and cranes. Paint a carrier on the back wall of the diorama.

a suggestion. how about a rear deck of the uss arizona. just one persons suggestion.

I’ve always wanted to do a Pacific theater fighter abandoned or wrecked in the jungle. I know it’s been done before. My skills are not up to the task right now. I think some one did the hellcat under water ,very cool.

bobbaily- My Lady Be Good is in the lattest FSM? This is quite a surprise, could you tell me what issue and page it is on, I have heard nothing about it.

Vey interesting ideas everyone, I have always considered doing some kind of wreck scene with one of them, but just never got the guts again to do another since the LBG.

Also a sunken aircraft is an idea I have been nursing fo a while but I want to do it with a 1/32 kit, would look more impressive.

The Arizona catipult idea is an intriguing one, but I am not much for massive scatch building at the moment, maby after I get the catapult done I could build that to go with it.

The Bug Bomber idea is a good one but the kit would need alot of work to get it presentable, a possible future plan maby?

well the HellCat, Avenger and Dauntless you could do a carrier deck Diorama BTW the Essex carried the HellCat,Avenger and Dauntless from 1943 till 1944 when they changed from the Dauntless to the HellDiver. as for the WildCats you could have them tangling with a couple Zeros with the Wildcats carrying markings for Fighting 8 off the Hornet.

BTW what no Corsairs?
