Mate, the panel lines are WAY overdone in my opinion. Other than that looks good.
Hi,
Yes, you maid a good model, in a very little scale, with nice BMF, but as Tanky said, you’re panellines are way overdone…
They are too deep and you maid them a little to dirty…
It looks good, but if you hadn’t done these things, it would have been much better…
No offence meant mate, just my[2c]…
Cheers,
Jürgen
The NMF looks good, but I have to agree with the others on the panel lines.
Regards, Rick
The Idea is wonderful and so is the model!
I suspect that the “over done panel lines” are not a mistake by Harshman.
Usually on small scale models the engraving is just about the same as in 1:72 hence the gaps are much wider for the scale. It’s a limitation of fabrication. it’s the old 1:100 tamiya model, were’nt they made in the 80’s? Maybe I’m mistaking. let me know [8D]
Yeah-Maybe the panel lines are a little overdone but an interesting subject and a nice build. A static model of a static airplane.
Cheers,
Dan
This is a very nice overall representation of the full scale display. The base is exceptionally well done. The plane itself is well done also, other than the panel lines are awfully stark. Since the size of the panels is set at manufacture and the modeler has no control of that, maybe the wash could have been a lighter color so as to not stand out quite so much. Thanks for posting your photos.

How abt this? Panel lining lighten, that’s the minimum I can go…
Ya! Regarding what shmodeler say,the panel lines r a bit wide and looks likely for a 1/72 kit ,is quite true but I can’t expect too much for a small scale and cheap model.Overall,I’m still satisfy with the kit. Cheers!!!
Thats looks great!Especially for 1/100th scale!!
I like it, it captures that used and wheater beaten look that static/museum aircraft can have. Wheatering which is overdone on normal aircraft can be very appropriate on static aircraft.
I think your toned down wheatering is ok!
How did you make the base?
I used every modeller’s favourite ,plaster clay, cheap and easy to use. Use a cylinder bottle and roll it flat on base!
Nice little build. THe altered panel lines look much better IMHO.
Your redo of the panel looks great, much better than the original.
