Some of you guys are familiar with my weekend cruiser. It just got a nice upgrade.
That rocks! How’d you manage to swing it?
They’re on a mission from God.
That’s cool!!
I was able to be in the right place at the right time with a little good luck thrown in for a change.
Super !
How is parts availability for that car ?
Mechanical isn’t a problem.If I needed to replace the grill,fender etc.,that could be a chore.
As my daughter likes to say…“Coolios!” Just watch out for the Penguin!
She was badass! As a kid I got cracked once or twice by nuns that could have played that part easily.
Way cool. You gonna clear coat the autograph?
I don’t know.You think I should? The car isn’t a daily driver.
In that case, I think I would leave it alone. Any overcoat might cause the ink to run. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! Very cool!
I agree.And Thanks.
TD4438, My brother and I were just talking about that same subject last week. We’re both in our 70’s and our hands are in bad shape. We got our knuckles hit quite a few times with the pointer, the heavy wooden ruler, and also that mahogany clicker with the ball in the middle. The one we had wouldn’t teach girls. She always said that if she hit one of the boys, he’d go sit in the corner and not give her any trouble. If she hit one of the girls, they’d fight back.

LOL. I just got the occasional slap.

I could give you Elwood’s exact quote prior to this moment.
It’s 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark… and we’re wearing sunglasses.
Oh man, you are like a God to me. That is way too cool and a very fine tribute to a true American pop culture icon. Preserve it forever!
Hope THIS conversation never takes place in that car:
"OH NO, we’ve thrown a rod!! "
"Is that bad? "
“Yeah”
