Not Quite a Factory, More like a Build in a Driveway.....

You know what I’m talking about! It’s like you guys who build and ‘trick out’ your cars in your driveway. Well, I got a tank I’m building, and since it’s the only one, I’m doing it in the driveway!

Yep! That’s her! My T-54 for my Russian Army! Tracks are painted, and she’s sporting a new coat of paint on her turret and lower hull!

The Factory is still closed since the workers are still on vacation. Well, not quite closed. I got some scabs in there doing work for the Under New Ownership Group Build. They don’t have a Barbeque going over there, so don’t ask! Just have a seat around my backyard pool and enjoy some of my burgers! [C=:-)]

Well at least you wont have any shipping problems what with the 60 fwy just down the street!

Hopefully you won’t be posting later on because you heard a faint “CRUNCH” when backing out the car [#oops]

The green looks good, what brand/color mix is it?

Actually almost right in my front yard! I can see it from the corner near my house. I don’t know where you are in So Cal, but if you know where Fullerton Rd meets Colima Rd. in Rowland Heights, you’re about a stone’s throw away from me!

Lol! Hadn’t thought of that!

The color is Testors Model Master Dark Green. I found it to be the closest thing to Russian Green out there, especially after all the weathering and such.

looks good duke! like the color!

Thanks Tankergeoff! I’m glad to see you stop in!

Geez Duke! Do like I did? I just moved the wife into the TV room, and took over the master bedroom for my hobby shop. Nice thing about it, is, you don’t have the paperboy chucking papers onto your driveway factory. What the heck! gotta use that masterroom for something! Oh! bye the way, the T-54 is looking sweet.[^] Semper Fi, mike

Thanks Mike! Yeah, it feels good to get away from the occasional shot to the head by the local newsboy.

I’m glad to see you stop in. Thanks for checking it out.

Duke I always check your work out. Sometimes I’m just a little lazy about commenting. That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy seeing your work, and reading your comments. Us “Calif Prune Pickers” got to stick together. LOL. Later Duke. Semper Fi, mike

Doing models in my driveway would require too much snow shovelling! Looks nice Duke
