This is a guy whose actions both at the front and in the rear would make for some great cinema. I would love to see HBO do his story.
At one time there were plans on doing a movie about him but in true Hollywood fashion they butchered it.

Never even heard of it. WoW ~ Warner makes some hack-job flick and never even mentions Pool. Then Universal hires him on but ends up dropping the project and making another yet another Robin Hood movie ! Gee thanks Hollywood,what a flipp’in tragedy to American History !
