Thank you. I haven’t added any decals to the F-104 yet, I’ve barely even finished putting the pieces together. I did put both sides of the fuselage and paint them well, however on the wings, I kinda messed up the paint on it so it has bumps and blobs that are dried up. The reason I am skeptical about the Sandpaper is because I don’t wanna damage it or ruin it any further. I did mess up the clearcoat on the D-21 when I tried to use sandpaper on that.
If you want to use paint remover you can try Testors Elo decal and paint remover I’ve used it before and it worked well untill I put too much on and let set too long, had to throw out my B-17. Don’t let that scare you. I didn’t know about this web site then so I had nobody to tell me how to use it. Just go slow and don’t use too much at a time. Apply the remover let it sit untill paint starts to wrinkle then wipe it off with a paper towel. Give it a go! I think you can get it at Hobby Lobby. Let us know how it went.
