No room to display?

Hi all,
I have always had the problem of wondering what to do with a kit when I finished it. You can only display so many finished kits in the average house, then what? Stop building? Stack them in a clothest? Toss out the old to make room for the new?
Well, I just wanted to share an idea I had that worked nicely. I gathered up some of my finished kits and took them down to the local VFW. They were happy to put them on display and I now have room at home for the kits I want to display. Its also nice to see people looking at the models and hear what they have to say about them.
Other places one might ask about displaying your kits are the local American Legion, libraries and even retirement homes.
Hope you all have a Safe and Happy New Year [:D][:D][:D]

If you want to keep your models, you can also go to Walmart and buy those plastic storage bins, they come in all sizes, and you can stack them. I use these to carry my models to contests and stuff.

You can also display them at your local hobby shop and at airports. The small airports are easy but some friends of mine maintained a large display at the Syracuse New York International Airport for a while. I have a display at the local airport here and am thinking about expanding my shelving into a neighboring town’s airport. Hey, if the modelers there won’t take advantage of it I certainly will.

I am a victim of limited space…I have 30+ unmade kits due to this reason.
I am forbitten of making alterations to the home furniture…in order to accomodate the surplus…
I do not trust anyone with my kits though…they are my “children”…lol
