No expert here, just sharing wip

I’m no ship expert. Not a rivet counter, but here are acouple of photo’s of WIP’s. Thanks for looking!

Photography is also a work in progress. They are 1/350. Boxes are not handy to tell much more, but top is Arizona, bottom is N. Carolina.

Thanks, 60

I think she’s lookin’ pretty good! Keep up the good work!

Thanks, scorpr2! I have posted on FSM for quite a few years and am just now able to post pics. Just letting people know I am no expert modeler, but a modeler, just the same.
I love military models. I don’t have much money, so I won’t be buying extra pe and other nice additions. I am happy for those who do and can. I am also happy to build models, when I can afford to.
Usually I get them as gifts or from gift certificates. I am an old M60A3 Tanker, but I always loved the sea, and my first models I built as a child were WWII warships.
“Mother mother ocean… I have heard you call, wanted to sail upon your waters, since I was three feet tall…”

I am also working on a scratchbuilt US (Escort? CVL?) My skills are not great, but I’m trying…

looking good 60, I’m no ship expert or rivet counter but they look right to me! I’m assuming the N. Carolina still needs some paint on the uper decks- thus the WIP?

hmm… on another note, I wonder how long it’ll take Manny to comment on the fact that the Arizona appears to have run aground? [;)]

Thanks, psstoff! N. Carolina needs hull and topside painted. A few more parts as well. Did I say Arizona? I meant Nevada, beaching herself, Dec. 7th, 1941 lol!

The heck with the ships, both of which look good to me - I want to know how he got that cool-looking floral ocean effect!

Again, now you KNOW ships aren’t my thing [:I] but they do look good, keep us up to date, after you finish up the paint job

I think this was a left over base from one of his panzer models, Manny pointed out the flowers were a little out of scale so I guess he scrapped that one [(-D]

LOL!! Thanks, psstoff!
