Night-fighter black paint job

Hi gang~

I’m starting a Bf 110 night-fighter that calls for an all black paint scheme. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to do the scheme without it looking “just black”. I want to break up the panel lines. I usually pre-shade, but how would you do that with black?

Use grey where you would use black.

Lighten certain panels and centers of panels with black that has been lightened just a hair. You want a subtle differences.
