I found an airplane that she liked, and thought was cool enough to want one on the shelf. And since im not into those multi winged things, she had to build it herself. Her first kit was a 1/48 stang, which she also wanted, and I told her I didnt do little fighters in little scales. It is also a good way for us to spend time together.

Shoot. I tried that stuff with my wife, and she still doesn’t wanna build a kit. Oh well. Hey, it’s great to see that your wife wants to build along with you. Just make sure she keeps posting her work. [:)]

To the people who asked what I used for the metal finish on the cowling the answer is simple and cheap - Testors silver enamel paint. [;)]
