mstanley, nice neuport, I really like that ww1 bird. I think that one, the sopwith tripe and the albatross dv the nicest of them all. Very well done, thanks for the look. Is that 1:48?
Very nice.

Very nice. Is that a wash on the wheels?
Exquisite work really enjoyed the look. Thanks for posting.
Hey Mike,
Love how your 17 turned out. I have a few of the various Nieuports from Eduard. They are great lookin kits in the box as well as built as yours shows.
The one thing that I am kind of nervous on is the rigging itself. How did you go about doing it? I mean the way you installed the rigging…
Thanks for sharing.

I’m gearing up to do a Pfalz D.IIIa by Eduard. How did you achieve the look of wood? I have a feeling that if I do it, the wooden areas will just end up looking brown.
Very nice and inspiring…
I have to agree, you did outstanding work on the neuport. I also like the look of the wood.
You did do the kit Justice.
Yep. Just some dark water color to bring out the tire edge and the hole for the inner tube stem.
Drilled small holes at one end before assembly. Measure with dividers. Insert one end in the hole and then CA the other end. Leaving the hole end unglued allows for some flex which this little guy has.
Wood is RAF midstone. Once it it dry I dry brush with darker brown. Then dip in Future. Takes some practice but comes out pretty good.
Fantastic!
Great build. Very nice work.
Regards, Rick
Coolish Mike thanks for the info. I will definetly use your method.

Great Work!!!
Very nice work. One day I will get up the courage and try a biplane build.
Very nice indeed. The wood really makes the model stand out.
