It’s been a busy week with mundane stuff so not a whole lot has been finished but yesterday both boys finally moved back to college and I was able to work on a model again. Here is my 1/48 Nichimo KI-45 Nick, the base color has been laid down, the wing leading edges are done and most fine details are done.

The camo pattern is something a little different and I have been thinking of approaches to achieve the effect and retain good coloration on the large white decal wing bands. The final decision is to apply the large decals then brush paint the blotch pattern. This picture was taken yesterday and this evening I have been painting that pattern. The good news is that the plan worked and I’ll be able to show you guys some shots of that maybe tomorrow.
Looking good mate. I’m interested to see how the camo turns out. Thanks for the peek.
