Nice Picture Site

Hi guys…

Just found this link by accident when looking for something else:

http://www.air-and-space.com/20040516%20Chino%20flying%206.htm

Some real nice, decent quality, but small pictures of WWII to recent aircraft.

There just has to be a WWII war movie screaming to be made for these aircraft to star in!!! If I were younger I would get my A & P certificate and move to Chino!

That’s kind of a mind-boggling site to go through and you can get lost pretty easily. It’s also one of the few places online where I’ve found a photo of a specific P-40.

I have a few shots of this particular Hawk in Air Classics rags from the early to mid 80s but I’ve come across only four photos online. I also have next to no info on this airframe. I think I know which it is, but I’ve yet to see a picture of this thing with any visible registration or other identifying markings.

Here’s the best of the four images I’ve come across; I just received permission to use it on the P-40 site. Only problem is I dunno what airframe it is!!! [:(!]

So if anyone has any images of this particular P-40, please contact me via email or here in the forum…
