That is really cool. How did you find it?
Great stuff! Thanks. Anyone tell the type of the a/c on the wrong end of the a-to-a footage? FW-190?
That had got to be a FW190,carrot shaped fuselage and wings raked up like that at the ends. It doesnt look like a D9, probably an A-F model. Man i would hate to be on the receiving end of a Thunderbolt! That 190 was probably coming unglued at the seams toward the end! I wonder if the pilot survived??
I’m Speachless! That’s really something!
Thank you so very much for sharing!
Whoa…
Eight .50 calibre machine guns…nasty…musta been one heck of a ground attack/support platform…
And he was a full Colonel at 25!
Two gun camera scenes that I can never EVER get out of my mind are the B-17 getting shot to ribbons…

…and the old cart and horse getting strafed out in the middle of nowhere. Talk about ‘free fire zone’. [B)]
Love the P-47, thanks for the info

Wow - the film of that poor B-17 getting a hosing really is quiet poigniant - especially with no sound. From what I could see, the rear & belly gunner wouldn’t have survived that, and the waist gunners would have been lucky to get out unscathed. I counted 2 serious strikes on engines too. I expect that one didn’t make it home. [:(]
[tup] Thanks, awesome footage.
Cheers,
Eric
Great footage. I just finished a Tamiya P-47D Razorback. It’s a great plane.
