Newest Armor from Maddog Manufacturing. Yes, I'm still here...

Let’s start out with my Marine Corps Group Build entries from the Marine Corps Group Build on the LEM :

This is Dragon’s 1/72 scale US Marine AA7V personnel carrier:

Next is my ACE 1/72 scale US Marine LAV-25:

Next up is a couple of little armored scout cars. First is the ACE 1/72 scale French AML-60 armored car:

Followed by the Italeri 1/72 scale US Army M-20 armored utility car:

That one is actually dirtier than it looks in this photo.

Next up is the UM Models 1/72 scale Su-76 Assault Gun:

Now here’s a few pics of some different subjects. These next two are the Gran Ltd, 1/72 scale Sa-3 Goa SAM system.

And finally, I have three pics of the fastest ACE kit I’ve ever built! This is the ACE 1/72 scale IG 18 Infantry Gun. The Exacto Blade is there for a size reference.

Well, now that I have all that off my bench, I’ll finish up a few more projects that have been sitting for too long. Then maybe I’ll get started on some Dragon fireflies, and/or maybe a few Dragon Sdkfz 251’s and anything else that catches my fancy…

Oh, don’t forget to check out the Diorama Forums for the two country houses I finished as well!

Thanks for looking. Comments are welcome.

Very nice Duke! [tup]

My eyes hurt just to see your gun beside the blade [:O]

Yup some great work there Duke…you’ve inspired me to have a go at some of the brail scale kit’s I have in my stash[tup]

How do you paint your kit’s…brush or airbrush?

I ask because I just wondered how to tackle some of the more intricate camo scheme’s on such small vehicles.[%-)]

Some really nice builds there Duke! I always appreciate seeing what you’ve been up to. [tup]

Nice builds, I have a hard enough time working on 1/35 stuff[tup][tup]

Jean-Michel, it ain’t so bad for me. I just take off my glasses! [;)][:D] Thanks for the compliments!

Thanks Dave, I’m always glad to see your posts. Thank you for the compliment!

Thanks Bill, glad you like them.

Thanks Comet! I’d love to see some of your work in this scale. As for painting, I use a brush. I don’t have the tips, the spraybooth or the skill to do some of this with an airbrush. A nice small pointed brush for outlining, and then a slightly bigger one for filling in. Good luck on your Braille Scale kits!

Cheers for the tip’s Duke.I’v got a Dragon Hornisse half started so I’ll post some pics once it’s finished [tup]

Duke,

As always. Good work…very good work.

How did that UM kid go together for you?

Grant

You’re welcome Glyn. Glad I could help. If you’d like, I can also post pics of my Dragon Hornisse that I built last year too. Watch out for all this tiny parts in the gun carriage assembly!

Thanks Grant! Glad you like them. The UM kit went together pretty well. I had some fit issues with the fighting compartment walls, but overall a simple and easy kit to assemble. Be careful with the tiny L&L tracks though. I came close to losing a few to the Carpet Monster!

Thanks agian for all the compliments guys!

Looking good from here. I am jealous of work in 1/72nd mainly because I can barely see it anymore.

Terry.

Thanks Terry! I’m glad you like them. Thanks for stopping in.
