[V] Finally was able to enter the sweepstakes. As I recall it was easier
to register for the draft. Having just registered here, seems this sight is unnecessarily complicated. Will try it out again, but my second visit may well be my last
Welcome to FSM, echo. I am so sorry that you feel tha way. I hope that your second visit will not be the last. I hope that you will find out that this site is really cool.
Good luck.
Welcome to FSM echo4bravo.
Sorry to hear that you think the forums are a little on the complex side. I will admit they did take a little time to get used to them when I first logged on, but it soon becomes second nature. I hope your next visit is more pleasant for you and you will decide to join this family of modellers.
Welcome to the Forums, echo4bravo!
Well you seem to have the basics down (heck, you were able to post a new topic!), and we’re here to help for everything else! I hope your next visit goes better. You’ll be amazed by just how much there is to learn from the people in this forum! What is it you like to build?
Welcome Echo4bravo! Don’t give up on us, we will be glad to help you out with whatever you need.
Welcome to FSM!
Good luck!
Welcome echo4bravo. Glad to hear that you entered the sweepstakes. Good luck.

Welcome to the forums, echo4bravo!
I hope you give it a chance. Once you get the hang of it, it does become second nature!
Hello and welcome to the forum. Hang in there youll get used to it!
Welcome to the forums, Echo4bravo. Do stay around. You’ll get the hang of it. It took me a while to know most of the things, myself, but now Im just hooked.

OK, fine, I’ll stick it out a while. How do you reply to a specific post?
To Shrike the original plan was to build every make, model, and mark of everything that ever had the Eagle, Globe and Anchor painted on the side. Research showed that would run to 700+ kits. Two problems right off: Storage/display space, and I’m cheap
(which is good, cause I’m poor). Trimmed the list to a single example of each type which will still run to 200. Only about a quarter of which are available as kits.
Except for the OOP Esoteric vacs does anybody know a source of 1920’s/'30 Navy types?
Welcome to the forums. We are a good bunch of lunitics modelers.
To respond to an specific post just say their name (like you did), or quote them. That takes some practice, you can’t learn it all at once . Take it easy, and just do what you feel comfortable doing.
good to hear yuor sticking around!!!
Welcome to FSM
Any particular scale? There are a number of kits available if you look at 1/72 or 1/48th. There are even a few 1/32 scale planes. Some kits are OOP, but you can find them at club meets and on eBay.
Welcome to the forums, glad you decided to try again [#welcome]
hi echo welcome [:D]
Hello Echo4bravo, Welcome and I’m glad your sticking around. If I can be of help just email or ICQ me.[;)]
Glad to hear it!! [:D]
You mean, how do you quote other people like above? The word “quote” can be seen on the upper right of every post. clicking on that brings you to the “post a new reply” screen with the desired message already typed up in the box. nevermind about all the square brackets, etc… just type your message below.
Don’t worry, i’m cheap too! and i have limited space as well! maybe you should be going with 1/72nd stuff since they’re smaller and (more importantly) cheaper! [;)]
welcome mate…join the club.
