Hi all, and to u Martinjk, hiya,[:D] thx 4 askin’ bout me[:I], been workin out and had to help dad build a room add-on to the house[zzz]. Hey, I have had an exciting day, I finally got a subscription to FSM AND 4 the 1st time bought something on e-bay. I got a 1/350 Trumpeter Arizona in Pearl Harbor. Is this a good model? rather is Trumpeter good at making models? ha-ha, hope so cuz it’s mine now. I cannot blieve someone asked bout me, thats so cool![8D] I have been mainly on the techniques forum or ships forum. Hey Martin and anybody else who wud like to, check this out and see if i’m doin ok, haven’t learned to weather yet really so… these r the first models I have built, all in the past year, starting on Tamiya 1/350 Yamato now, trying to find which I like best, armor, planes, or ships[%-). Congrats on your eBay purchase. As far as Trumpeter model kits go, they are great but require patience as they include a lot of parts (patience is a must). Many of their kits are quite accurate and their navy kits are considered as excellent kits. William, I would not worry about your weathering just yet, you cant “just learn” weathering as it takes practice, practice and more practice. Your first models look great and with your positive attitude, practice and some patience you will become pro builder sooner than later. You made a very good impression on these forums and its people like you (and the rest of us here at the ol’ forums) that make this hobby great.
