When I was young, my dad and I had a tradition of spending the entire day on New Year’s building models in the basement. As a thanks for his getting me into model building, I’m continuing that tradition on an annual basis. This year’s subject is Hobbycraft’s 1/48 A-4B Skyhawk. It is an OOB build to keep things simple. I’m not sure I’m going to finish it because a group of friends are getting together for a Godfather marathon. Believe it or not, I’ve never seen any of the movies. It looks like I’ll get the decaling finished before I have to call it quits. I started the build at 7:00 a.m. This is where I’m at 7 hours later. I’m waiting for the decal on one side to dry before picking it up again. I hope everyone is having an enjoyable New Year’s!
