Great to see so many people posting their completed works here in the past couple of weeks, and sharing some magnificent work. I feel truly blessed to be able to build here with all of you, and to learn so much and share what I can. The people here are some of the most caring, knowledgable, and friendly folks I have ever had the pleasure of talking to. In the past year here, I have made MANY friends and have been fortunate enough to speak with some of you on the phone, to meet some of you, and chat via PM or email. I have been lucky enough to be able to send parts, decals, or other needed items to many people, repaying the generosity that others have shown me. I am REALLY looking forward to another year building models here with you all, the people that I consider my friends.
I hope the New Year brings you all good health, calm seas, and rewarding time spent at the modeling bench.

I know how you feel. I am always humbled by what I see on the forum. Every time I look at the efforts that people post I am for the most part amazed. I wish that my skills compare with the masters that I see post regularly on this forum. I like the fact that most people here try to help and not tear down what people post. This tells me that we have a great hobby and the people involved are some of the finest that I know. Happy New Year and here is to a great new year for our hobby!

I joined this forum back in 2003 but was not really active continuosly until the middle of this year. I have made a lot of new friends in this short period of time. It is nice to be able to share advice and tips with people who have the same interests. In time I hope to be able to meet some of you. Good luck and Good health to all of you.
