New Vintage Racer Post Card Set Coming
OK, so it’s a “virtual” card set. But at least it’s free and, who knows, maybe someone in the “business” will see them and will, like the good captain Picard, decide to “make it so.”
Here’s the first one in the set and no I don’t know why one of a dyed in the wool Ford man’s favorite could be that bowtie shaped thorn in Ford’s side for the '63 season. Maybe because stock car racing was an avocation for Junior for so long while he plied his real trade in the hills and hollers of the Blue Ridge Mountains late at night.
Once again an outstanding effort.[bow] I have been saving all the pictures you have posted of stock car racings’ veterans, because they bring back great memories. I have seen Fireball Roberts, Cotton Owens, the Sosebee Bros., Junior and all the rest, and your pictures are a great reminder of days gone by. THANK YOU!
Thanks for the encouragement, I really appreciate the nice comments. I think this series is gonna have a BUNCH of stuff in it, both Grand National and Modified and maybe even some local dirt cars too. Stay tuned, got some Fireball, Curtis and even a Cotton card coming.
