I had posted a couple of pix of my Revell PT-17 when I finished it a couple of months ago. The pictures were not the best, though, as the weather was windy and blowing my setup around a lot. Had some nice weather last week, so I shot some more pics of that plane.

I loved that kit. It is a great release, really find molding for detail and fit. It is not a beginner’s kit because it is a bit fragile. That is the price you must pay for things like small diameter tubing in correct scale. There is a lot of internal detail. The low price also shows that one can market really top quality kits without needing purchasers to take out financing!

I snagged one off the shelf at Hobby Lobby and came out to around $10 with the 40% coupon. HL hasn’t re stocked it otherwise I would have grabbed another one. The kit is truly a little gem.

Got mine earlier this year when I first heard it was out. Got it at Hobby Lobby for $11 bucks.

Looks great, I am building it also and I would like to know what paint you used. I can’t find that color blue. Thanks
