hey guys! i’m planning to build the British challenger 1 (mk.3)… any tips or advice? Do i paint in the middle of the assembling process or wait until all the assembly is finished? thanks! :smiley: and oh, any diorama you can suggest?

Hi avuo. I have done the British Challenger 2 lately. What I did was assemble the main turret and the hull before I painted it.

As for the dio, you can make one depicting a NATO exercise, tank with crews at rest, tank halted with crew trying to check directions on the map…actually there are lots of possibilities.

My Chally 1 is about 10% complete. I got sidetracked by other projects. I did buy some brass mesh sheets that I will use instead of the nylon mesh provided by Tamiya. As for diorama ideas, how about an Operation Desert Storm dio?

thanks… i’m kinda confused… i’m building the desert version and i should not attach the support rollers and A44? it’s in step 3 on the instruction booklet…
