I think the emblem was called " Tatzelwurm" or Dragon in English.

Hey,
how do you make those stains on under the wings and on the cowling? I’m working on Monogram’s B-17G right now, and I’m looking for the best technique to “wheather” the engines down!

I painted this aircraft with my Revell Standard class airbrush (only the cockpit instruments and some other details I handpainted) I used very thinned down paint (revell paint nr 08 thined down with revell thinning stuff, I thined it down to about 10% paint and 90% thinner)
The weathering I sprayed with revell nr 9 airbrush paint with very few paint coming out of the airbrush. (the same way i painted the small dots, I let the paint come out in very small amounts and i “fired” my airbrush from about 1 centimeter of the plane for a very small amout of time, with this techniques you can make really small dots even though the standard class airbrush isn’t a too good airbrush for small things)
