I have updated my photos with some Godzilla, and my King Ghidorah in progress. Thanks for looking. leave a comment.

Always good to see an Aurora (or a Polar Lights Aurora) kit! That Godzilla (in its original Aurora version) was the first model I ever had, waaaaay back in the 60’s. I think I ended up going through five or six of them (still have a couple of 'em left!).
Nice work! One suggestion: the parting lines are still quite evident on G’s legs, stomach, chest, and head. At this stage, a bit of putty and some sanding would take care of those lines in no time. Then you’d have to repaint the ol’ boy, but it would be worth it!
Ghidorah’s looking good, too!
I always wondered why Aurora chose not to replicate the scales on the backs of the necks…it’s really very noticeable. Too bad, as it’s a very dynamic, powerful pose, and otherwise it’s a great kit (I always thought it looked much better than Toho’s Ghidorah).
Thanks for sharing, and keep us updated![:)]
Excellent. Perfectly captures the realism of of the Godzilla movies. (hehehe)
