I was reading on hyperscale.com about Eduard comming out with “a comprehensive family of all new 1/48 scale F-4 Phantoms!” in 2009. They announced this at the nationals.
Don’t know about you but I can’t wait!

Good news but I hope they’re a big improvement detail, fit and accuracy wise on the Hasegawa ones, which were good but could definitely do with some improvements here and there. I’m also surprised Revell haven’t given us more variations on their 1/32 Phantoms such as British Phantoms etc.
Been reading the IMPS NATs reports myself on several sites. I guess Eduard announced this release during their briefing on their plan to take over the world. First the Bf110 hitting the shelves now, then the Hellcat, an FW-190D, a range of Mig-21s, and then the Phantoms, all in 1/48th, and a 1/32nd Bf-109E released in there somewhere, too. Hasegawa must be shaking in their clogs at this news!
I also read a report that Revell USA was dropping hints that the rumors of their B-17F molds deaths were greatly exaggerated, and a big announcement was coming in Nov. Also, they are reportedly finally rereleasing the 1/48 Visible B-17G with the clear side again. Don’t be surprised to start seeing speculators start dumping these on E-bay once word starts getting around (ala Revell Ki-61!)
One report said Revell of Germany had test shots of there upcoming 1/72 Lancaster circulating, and reviews were very favorable. News from Hasegawa is that they are working on a new 1/72nd B-24. Finally, heard Valom was working on an early, short wing B-26.
Sure there’s more out there, anyone heard/read other rumors?
