The single best source for new kit news is here, IMHO:

I agree – the Premium Panther A is a must have
Wouldn’t it be nice if it came with really nice molded on zimmerit? I’d be all over it. Wonder what it will have that the special D-Day one didn’t? Probably magic-tracks and an aluminum barrel, though the D-Day issue came with one. Not sure what will merit the premium price. [yuck]
Okay, I answered my own question:

First look extensive review up on Armorama.
I have the D and the G kits from Dragon in the stash but don’t think I’ll be picking this one up. I built the A “late” as the Normandy kit already and big-cats aren’t really my thing. It looks like it’s going to get some nice “Premium” treatment though, sure to be a popular seller. Too bad they stayed with the photograph style instruction sheets and just “tweaked” them to include the new items, but I guess there’s costs/time involved in reworking them to a line drawing standard so they went “as is”.
Seems like the trend of “Premium” and “Smart” kits has become the new dual strategy. Haven’t seen any “Super” kits announced since the Pz IV series, wonder if that’s gone by the wayside with this new approach?
