Hi guys and girls, this is my first foray on this site so hello to you all. I’ve been out of the modeling game for nearly thirty years and got back into it a couple of years or so ago. That was only because we got our son a '‘battle of Britain’ set from revell for Xmas and I ended up doing the HE 111, and so they say, the rest is history!!! I mainly build world war two aircraft in 1-72 scale but have decided this year to 1, have a go at jumping up a scale to 1-48, and 2, to have a go at a few ‘‘stove pipes’’. Still regard myself as very much a novice and look forward to looking at people’s posts and maybe ‘‘picking’’ a few of you experts out there’s brains.
Welcome to the Forum!
I have that BoB Revell in my stash. How does the Heinkel build up?
Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you aboard!

Welcome aboard. Hope we get to see some pics of that He 111.
As for jumping up a scale, DON’T DO IT. That only leads to hell and damnation [6]
I really think Bish is right.
Welcome to the gang…and don’t listen to Bish; come to the darkside!
welcome to the forums
Definitely lots of big brains to pick in here!! Welcome
[snWcm] I have discovered the Fountain of Youth and it looks and tastes a lot like cyanoacrylate.
Jumping may not lead to ehce-ehe-el-el and eternal damnation, but it certainly drains the wallet faster: “There is that (Insert Lust Here) that I was really looking for in (Insert Scale A Here) but since its in (Insert Scale B Here) I’d better pick it up. Who knows if I’ll ever find one in (Insert Scale A Here).”
Ask me how I know. Go ahead, do it.
Welcome back to modeling and to the forums.
