Hello all, I am a new member to the forums. After a fifteen year break from building models I am wanting to get back into it. I was wondering if any of you could point me in the right direction, I would like to build a couple of U.S. 37mm and 57mm antitank guns. Does anyone know if there are kits available for these? Thanks, Monte.
Welcome to the FSM forums Monte. You can search e-bay for those models. The models you are trying to find are unfamilar to me. Here is a link to e-bay that might help.

There are many other members that might be able to give you some more information. Good luck in your search.

Try squadron.com,discountmodels.com along with some from the FSM web.Digger[:)][C):-)][:)]
Welcome Monte. Boy that is a tough one. I’m not really aware of any offhand. There just isn’t much like that produced. Perhaps someone knows of some. Good luck.
Welcome to the forums Mkern
Iteleri has a 57mm kit its basicaly the British 6 pounder gun, im not sure about the 37mm gun i’ll have a look for one
Welcome to FSM!!!
The only 37mm anti tank gun done was by Monogram. It was originally issued with their Willys Jeep and a couple of troops manning the gun. I used to have one as a kid and it traveled in my Lindberg 1/32 scale landing craft.
The Monogram Jeep is reissued in a Revell of Germany box along with the old M34 deuce and a half, but the 37mm gun is not present in the kit. Ebay or old store stock would be your best bet to find the little pop gun.
I believe that italeri did the 37mm gun. I built one many years ago and it was pretty nice IIRC.
welcom back to the world of plastic. i to just startred back after a ten year asbent and i am loving every minute off it,ebay has a lot on right know but if you dont find them their try a google search or a yahoo search. and welcome back
Tamiya carries the 57mm British gun…not american, but the crew do look like early wwII us troops

The Tamiya 6pdr is pretty old and not very detailed.
Welcome to FSM Monte. Good to have you join us here on the Armour Forum !!
As already stated by the others, the 57mm is very close to the British 6 Pounder. I’ve built both the Tamiya offering and the Italeri kit. This is one of those times where Italeri wins hands down. IIRC the biggest difference between the U.S. & Brit versions are the tires.
Thank you all. I have been digging out my old modelling tools and stuff trying to figure out what I need to get. I must have 200 bottles of dried out Testors paint, but my liquid cement and Squadron green putty are still good. I need new paintbrushes and to learn how to use an airbrush again. I have found that all of the model stores in town have closed, so it looks like I will be ordering everything. Any good places to get everything from?
hi again,[:)]
i presume you’re stateside right? in which case the other guys will have to help you out, but in terms of a brilliantly organised site that i use for both armour and aircraft, if only to see what’s out there for a particular kit or parts set, try
www.hannants.co.uk
i get a lot of my etched stuff from there, and the kits that i don’t get from evil-bay[}:)]
