New Member - Cars, Planes and Space

Hi there

After haunting the forums looking at some of the great info and content I finally decided to join up!

I have just recently done the Dragon Apollo 11 kit, finshed an AMT 73 Corvette and finishing off another AMT 62 Corvette. As much as I love older sytle cars, these AMT kits were a bit of a challenge… fitment mainly.

I have just picked up the Dragon Apollo 13 kit as my wife is obsessed with the movie and the Apollo 11 wasn’t a challenge enough (sarcasm). I’m sure I’ll still enjoy building the kit and making the same mistakes that I made the first time.

Anyways, I am looking to do a 1/48 WWII fighter of types, but can’t make up my mind. I hear plenty of good things about the Tamiya Spitfire Mk1 done with the new tooling as the detailing looks good. Would anyone recommend it?

I would also like to check out some recommendations for a good Eduard kit - i’m chasing detail of course - so please recommend away!

Anyways, it was good to finally join the forum. Look forward to catching you all on here later!

Welcome aboard.

Welcome. You can’t go wrong witha Tamiya

Welcome aboard. I’d love to see your realspace builds - I haven’t done those, but I’ve been getting interested lately. I did the old tool Tamiya MK1 and it’s a great kit.

Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you with us.
