Thanks. I think most pro modelers use an airbrush to paint. But what about over spray? I live in a small place with no seperate area (garage) to use one.

If you’re using a double-action AB, there shouldn’t be tons of overspray. I used to do my spraying into a smallish (maybe 1 ft.x 1x2 moving-type box with cotton batting in the bottom – which would be the ‘back,’ while spraying – and the open/uneven surface did a great job of trapping errant spray. I’d flip the panel when one side got too grungy, then toss and replace it when the second side got bad.
If you’re using a harder-to-regulate single-action AB, or something like spray cans, then you’ll probably need a more efficient answer like a true spray booth with fan and ventilation.
BTW, I was spraying low/no odor acrylics in the above scenario, and wearing a cheap single-layer mask to avoid inhaling the actual paint particles. If you’re doing enamels and/or lacquers, then, again, heavier-duty options should probably be considered for fumes and odors.

Yes if your airbrushing with the right amount of PSI and paint,there is very little overspray.The newr acrylics and even Tamiya don’t have much odor,everyone’s circumstances are different however.
