There not much to tell. Just a old retired guy that has been building models off and on most of his life. I started as a youngster building ten cent balsa kits and progressed to plastic when they came along. I build all types of models aircraft, cars, trucks, ships and you get he picture.
I quit building models when I got hitched because everyone said it was for kids. Then when my son got old enough and was interested I got to helping him and that started me off again. In about 1978 I helped start a local model club that is still going today. The Golden Spread modelers meet every second Saturday on the month at Hobby Time Hobby Shop here in Amarillo,Texas. I also teach a modeling class for beginners at the hobby shop and just try and enjoy my hobby and have fun along the way.
I finished a Tamiya 1/32 F-14A Tomcat in VF-84 high vis markings a couple of months ago. As a club project I built the Revell Old School Spitfire and am working on the Trumpter 1/32 A-10 in a Euro 1 Flying Tigers sceam.

Can see you have been at this lil hooby a while Mac, that A10 is very very nice indeed, do post LOTS of pics if you can, we all love seeing how much better everyone else is at this LMAO…
Ohh I got that lovely Riff Raf Spit bookmarked on a US site as I can’t seem to find one over here in the UK, it looks as fun as I thought it might, gotta get one…

Nubes say the darnedest things[:D] 10 minutes? If your only here for 10 minutes you are not dedicated[;)] You are right though, we are a friendly bunch that will prattle on about that, that and the other… Like the other day I was chatting with Frank… he’s the Daywalker…something about a creature that can come out in the day time or his wife let’s him out for the day when he’s good… can’t remember… heck I go out in the day time all the time… no biggie… heck of a guy though… great modeler…you’ll like him…about a trade the SOMEONE made… planes for armor… about who got the better deal… Oh yeah… I am the one that got the armor…that’s why I put the Kyofu aside… was waiting for the Rosie the Riveter to arrive… needed to work on something… can’t just sit around…
