I have just finished painting my Italaeri “Priest” (dug up from my stash half-finished) and just about to start weathering it and while building the kit it has come to my mind that many of the early italaeri kits has not been repeated by the new model manufacturers. Thee were some interesting kits that they have before which can use some improvement. The priest is one of the them. It has a fairly good amount of detail but still very inferior to our new “premium Kits” and without photo etch. I would love to have a new Priest and maybe an M-47 Patton. Their soft skins and also ex Peerless will be nice to have maybe from Dragon or AFV Club. What would you like to have again? Maybe a Chafee would’nt you?
I believe Academy has a M-7 in works…
It would be nice to see an M3A1 scout car. Like IYAAYAS said, Academy has the M7 in progress. While a newly tooled M47 Patton would be nice, the veteran Italeri M47 STILL ranks as one of the best OOB kits around.
The old Peerless Dodges (except for the ambulance) have been retooled by Skybow/AFV Club.
A new BRUMBARR!
The Tamiya one is just OLD (thick details, skirts, etc) and the DML’s hull is incorrect and a real bear to fix–the upper hull eclipses the transmission cover hatches, and has incorrect skirt arrangements!
I’ve heard that trumpeter has a few 1/72 in the works–I hope they blow 'em up to 1/35!
