Hey everyone! I’ve gotten a little more progress done on some of my kits, but I couldn’t help myself this morning.
I decided to take a break from some of the other builds I’ve been doing. So, I picked this one out of my stash and started to build it this morning. The Dragon Chally II is pretty easy to assemble and goes together quite fast. Here it is, sans a number of small pieces that flew into Oblivion beyond the reach of mortal men:
I haven’t glued the top hull to the bottom one as you’ll see in these next few pics. While this tank was drying, I went back to my aircraft carrier.
After few hours of working on my USS John C Stennis, I finally got to the point where I was ready to re-paint the Stennis flight deck after all the sanding I did. After I painted it, I dunked a rattle can of Tamiya OD Green in the hot water to warm up while I moved my flight deck to a safer area to dry. Then I set up the three main assemblies of my Challenger to paint with the Tamiya OD Green. Here are the results:

Upper Hull:

These may still look a bit shiny but that’s because the paint’s still wet. It’s got rubber band tracks so I’ll have them done tomorrow.
Tomorrow, I shall also detail this little guy and then apply the camo pattern to it. Who knows? Maybe I’ll even get it finished tomorrow!
