Hi Karl, I have a similar problem though on a lesser scale. Where to put these babies when they are finished? I have in the wind a Revell Kearsarge, Aurora Hartford, Zvezda Sirius, Glencoe Corsair, Lee Mircea, Pyro Roger B Taney and a PS Savannah which will go in a bottle. The Kearsarge and Taney will go to friends. The main problem is that to do these ships justice, they must be protected from dust after they are built and that means a glass case. Expensive and space consuming.
Robert I agree, with my wife getting back into art and my modeling we may have to either put a second floor on our house or get a bibber house, I don’t think I’d case my ships in glass rathar go with a plastic case, I’ve seen some that have hinges so you can open the case if needed, glass kinda scares me knowing some day I’ll have grand kids running around.
