BOY…that penny looks so real!!![:o)][:)] lookin’ good so far friend. later.
I used the NMM painting technique on that penny. thanks
LOL!![tup]
Beautiful!! Is that going to be for wargaming?
-Dave
Yeah, It will be cast in metal. I have been getting a few commissions for wargaming lately.
Looks Great! [:)] What do you use to sculpt that?
Wow, amazing job. I don’t see nearly enough samurai figures.
that is sculpted with Kneadatite epoxy putty. It’s the “green stuff” that mini sculpters always talk about.
Thanks for all of the positive comments guys.
I have a possible commission coming through for a 1/100 JU87D Stuka. THAT,…will be a cool one. According to the manuacturer, it would be a resin and white metal kit.
[#ditto][#ditto] except when I enter comps - last two comps beaten to first place by samurai fiqures.
Hatewall, can you get good results sculpting with Milliput? Is it pretty much the same as Kneadatite?
-Dave
I mix milliput with Kneadatite sometimes, but I rarely sculpt with straight milliput.
Very nice. You should do a tutorial on sculpting figures.
Woody
i’ll do a tut on making figures if you want to edit it.
I’d love to see your tutorial[tup]
I’ll do the sculpting and take photos. Lets see if Woody will write it up. I’m not much of a teacher.
Fantastic work!
Very nice looking figure so far. Can’t wait to see what you do with this…Keep us posted.
